Gemius has just signed a three-year agreement with Danske Medier Research (DMR) – an independent company providing data for the Danish Online Index (DOI) – the official measurement of the Danish online traffic.
Starting from Spring 2020, Gemius comes back to Denmark and will provide an official measurement of the Danish online traffic (DOI).

Danske Medier Research was looking for a partner who will fulfill the task of providing the official Danish online measurement since Fall 2018.

Besides providing an overall picture of the total Danish Internet traffic for registered sites, the research will ensure the possibility of target group and cross-site analysis as well as app and streaming measurement. It will encompass all types of devices, making it possible to look across platforms and dive into each platform individually. Additionally, Danish Online Index will calculate the demographic composition of the Danish Internet traffic.

For the third time, Gemius has been chosen as the official provider of internet measurement in Hungary. 
Under the contract, the company will be sharing data with Hungarian customers on the viewership of websites from day to day. This is a new feature on the local market. The 5-year contract comes into effect in January 2018.

The Overnight methodology was honored in the IAB Europe Research Awards in 2016, with Gemius winning the trophy for the best research project in Europe.

Gemius has been conducting internet studies on the Hungarian market since 2007. The company began in Poland 18 years ago, and its solutions are now used in more than 30 countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

The Polish company competed against TNS-Mediameter and Ipsos-DotMetrics in the Hungarian tender.

Gemius triumphs again in Hungary

For the third year in a row Gemius has won at the IAB Research Awards organized by the European online industry. The company was awarded the statuette for technology which provides comprehensive analysis of the online advertising market.
The prize was accepted on behalf of the company by Vesna Gordon, director of international sales and marketing at Gemius, and Marta Sułkiewicz, responsible for the development of gemiusAdReal study.

The selection of best research projects was decided by a jury consisting of Nick Hiddleston (ZenithOptimedia), Pierpaolo Guidi (Subito), Agnieszka Hoffmann (Millward Brown), Chechu Lasheras (PRISA), Tony Evans (Facebook), and Paweł Kolenda (IAB Poland, IAB Europe).

The statuette in this year's edition of the competition is now the third Gemius award from the European online industry. For three years in a row now, the company has consistently won at the IAB Europe competition. In 2016, Gemius won the prize for best research project which produces daily webpage view data overnight. In 2015, it was recognised for a methodology allowing publishers to discover their total reach across all devices.

In 1999 Gemius began in a Polish backyard as a start-up, to now – eighteen years later – be setting the trend and creating innovative solutions that are being used by companies around the world. Gemius technology is currently being used in more than 30 markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Recently Gemius began measuring the advertising market in Germany.
